Moving on to green, today.
And going water-y. I love water abstracts (look through my flickr stream if you don't believe me), I'm fascinated by the range of colors and patterns.

So I found two rich green water-abstracts for my favorite color
(That light reflection on the glass is a shame, but the color from this aquarium is lovely)
And since my last posts were such soft, pretty shots, a more angular feel
I found some red I love, it's just after the orange...
Who cares about rainbow order
(Well, me, but for now I'll deal)
And then I flipped through lots of red berries, red brick, red lava lamps, red cars to bring you ... (drumroll please)

So, todays' post, not exactly diverse, but they are beautiful. I love the bold, glowing red -- with a very simple, minimal composition.
I'm tired of winter grays this week, so I went looking for some color and found myself drawn to bright, vibrant oranges.
(I thought I'd do red and maybe work my way through in rainbow order, but I just wasn't feeling red, a fact I'm blaming on a red and white sewing project I'm ready to be done with)
So, orange...
One of my favorite things about this one is that it's such a warm, lively color -- and it's titled "Rainy OH". There's something about the unexpected contrast that just appeals to my sense of whimsy.

New Years always seems like a reflective sort of time with all the resolution-making and starting anew -- and, although it's not as poetic, I just stumbled across a reflection shot I really like.
